+312% Website Traffic — How a Denver Painter Went From Invisible to Page 1
Client Overview
A residential painting company based in Denver, Colorado. The owner has been painting houses for 14 years, running a crew of 4. Most of their business came from referrals and yard signs, but new neighborhoods were getting harder to break into — and the phone had been quieter every year.
The Challenge
When they came to us, their online presence was almost nonexistent. Their website was a single-page Wix site built in 2017 with no service pages, no mobile responsiveness, and a contact form that didn't work. Their Google Business Profile had the wrong phone number and 3 reviews — two from family, one from 2019. Meanwhile, two competitors in the same zip code were running Google Ads and ranking on the first page for "Denver house painter," "exterior painting Denver," and every other search that mattered.
They were doing great work. Nobody could find them.
What We Did
Website
Weeks 1–2Built a custom 9-page WordPress website: homepage, 5 service pages (exterior, interior, cabinet, deck, commercial), about page, gallery, and contact page. Mobile-first. Click-to-call button on every page. Quote request form that sends directly to the owner's phone via text notification. Before/after project gallery with 22 photos the owner provided.

The website went from 43 visits a month — almost all direct traffic from people who already knew the business name — to 177, with the majority coming from Google search. The 18 articles are still climbing in rankings, meaning traffic will continue to grow without additional spend.
The owner booked 9 jobs directly from the website in the first 90 days. At their average job value, that's roughly $31,500 in new revenue attributable to online leads alone.
“I didn't even know people were searching for painters on Google. I thought it was all word of mouth. Now I'm getting calls from people I've never met who found me online. That's never happened before.”
— Mike R., Owner, residential painting company in Denver
